About

Protein advice without the marketing hype

Pick My Protein is a small, independent site that helps you work out how much protein you need and which kind of powder fits you.

Who runs this site

Pick My Protein is run by Suboth Prabhakaran, based in India.

Why it exists

Choosing a protein powder is harder than it should be. Labels shout about "anabolic" blends and "clinically proven" formulas, and it's tough to tell what actually matters. This site exists to help people choose protein powder based on facts, not marketing hype.

How products are compared

When looking at protein powders, the focus is on things you can check:

  • Protein per serving: how many grams you actually get in each scoop.
  • Price per gram of protein: the fairest way to compare value across tub sizes.
  • Ingredients: what else is in the tub, such as sweeteners, fillers and added blends.
  • Published lab testing: whether the brand shares independent test results.
  • No medical claims: products are not judged on health promises, and none are made here.

How the site earns money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what gets recommended. Recommendations are based on the criteria above.
